AI Search Router collects NO personal information.

The extension only stores locally on your device:

• Your selected default AI service preference (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
• Basic usage statistics for suggestion ranking (stored locally only)
• Recent search queries (stored locally for autocomplete, never transmitted)

2. How We Use Information

The locally stored information is used only to:

• Remember your preferred AI service
• Provide better search suggestions
• Improve your user experience

No data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

When you perform a search, AI Search Router redirects you to official AI service websites:

• ChatGPT - OpenAI's privacy policy applies
• Claude - Anthropic's privacy policy applies
• GitHub Copilot - Microsoft's privacy policy applies
• Perplexity - Perplexity AI's privacy policy applies

Once you visit these services, their respective privacy policies govern your data usage. AI Search Router acts only as a router and does not process or store your search data.

4. Data Storage & Security

• Local Storage Only: All data stays on your device
• No Cloud Sync: We don't sync your data anywhere
• No Analytics: We don't track your usage patterns
• No Advertisements: We don't collect data for ads

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT share any data with third parties.

There is no data to share - everything stays on your device.

6. Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's no data to:

• Request access to
• Request deletion of
• Request portability of

You can clear all locally stored preferences by removing and reinstalling the extension.

7. Children's Privacy

AI Search Router does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. Since we collect no personal information at all, this extension is safe for users of all ages.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
